Another BIG WIND day in the gorge. Three-Oh (3.0 square meter sail size) conditions: 30-35 mph! The camera is aimed toward the Event Site. The sailors are on a reach between the Event Site to the White Salmon Bridge. Dated July 23, 1998.

Typical BIG WIND day in the gorge. Three-Five (3.5 square meter sail size) conditions! This is as crowded as it gets. Remember, it's a mile across the river at this point. Dated June 12, 1998.

Aftermath of a 48 hour snowstorm on January 13, 1998 that dumped 4 feet of snow in Hood River. The snow was gone in a week. This was the only snow Hood River got during the Winter of 1997-1998, and it was gone five days later.
